The Elite Fleet

I would like to welcome you to our new site on the web. We hope it will be informative to our customers and community, entertaining to our friends and motivating to our employees.

The name Croft dates back to the days of old when knights in amour protected the people of the land. The word "Knight" actually means to serve. Firefighters of today proudly carry on this tradition of service protecting those who can’t protect or save themselves.

We are proud of our name Croft and what it has stood for. During World War II thousands of men trained here to become fighting men with the U.S. Army. They took what they had been taught at Camp Croft and helped free the world. They served their country and became “the Greatest Generation.” We shall never forget them.

The Croft Fire Department has proudly served since 1956 and hundreds of firefighters over the years have responded when someone was in need. Day or night, hot or Cold, if you have needed help in our community all you’ve had to do was ask for help.

We will continue to serve as best as we know how and we look forward to hearing from you if you know how we can do it better. We look forward to the challenge of representing the Croft name and it’s history, and we will daily strive to add to it.
